Walter Moers is German (and that hasn't been mentioned to insult him in any way). He is not a member of Giraffs Without Borders but in spite of that he is very well known among giraffes. Walter M is an author and has written the giraffe-bestseller "Die 13 1/2 Leben des Käpt'n Blaubär" which has inspired the giraffe Jones B. Giraffo to found The Order of the White Rooster. The huge popularity of "Die 13 1/2 Leben des Käpt'n Blaubär" among giraffes has made humans read the book as well. Some have even joined The Order of the White Rooster and more are following every day.
